Why this procedure was chosen
Only one supplier able to offer the clinically approved MRI Systems capable of providing the required MRI platform in order to satisfy the requirements and associated deployment model necessary for successful implementation of the project. In addition to imaging requirements, the project required a solution capable of deployment within the local infrastructure environment in Malawi. Key considerations included installation requirements, power and utility demands, operational sustainability, whole-life costs and the ability to deploy the system within a containerised solution. Pacific Diagnostics are the authorised distributor within Malawi responsible for local delivery, installation, commissioning, handover and support activities.
