Tender information last checkedLast checked 19 Oct 2026, 17:46.

Opportunity overview

The Council proposes to enter into block contract arrangements with an incumbent provider - Gold Care, for the provision of 10 nursing care home beds at Burrows House, converting existing spot arrangements into block provision. The contracts will support the placement of adults requiring both short-term and long-term care, including Discharge to Assess (D2A), respite care and longer-term nursing and residential placements, enabling the Council to discharge its statutory duty under the Care Act 2014. The proposed block contract will ensure service continuity, operational efficiency and better meet current and anticipated demand for Nursing Care.
