Opportunity overview

Correction to contract Award Notice, this Contract Award Notice is issued to correct the previously published UK6 ( Notice identifier : 2026/S 000-094936) The correction is that the previous UK6 incorrectly indicated a special regime concession contract instead of a contract for services, It also stated that 10 suppliers were at tender stage, when the correct figure is 4. ALL OTHER INFORMATION REMAINS THE SAME. Assessment summaries have been issued on 07/10/2026. References to Contract 2 on this form is Contract 1. For clarity no other contract was awarded. Sheffield Hallam University requires a single supplier to provide and implement a new Finance Solution to replace its existing finance system. The contract is for a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) finance solution, together with the associated design, configuration, implementation, training and ongoing support services, all under one contract. The solution covers the University's core finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, management and financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting, research and project accounting, and procurement and contract management. How it must be supplied: 1. Vendor-hosted SaaS on a subscription basis, using standard built-in processes wherever possible. 2. Implementation services, including mobilisation, design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover and post go-live support. 3. Integration with relevant University systems. 4. Training for users to support go-live and the move to business as usual. 5. Ongoing support, maintenance and upgrades in line with agreed service levels.

Renewal

Description
The contract has an initial term of 5 years (20/10/2026 to 19/10/2031), with the option for the University to extend it twice: Extension 1: up to 3 years (20/10/2031 to 19/10/2034) Extension 2: up to 2 years (20/10/2034 to 19/10/2036), available only if Extension 1 has been used The maximum contract term, including both extensions, is 10 years, ending 19/10/2036.

Options

Description
The contract includes the following options: 1. Additional quantities of the cloud services The University may order additional quantities of the cloud subscription services already purchased under the contract. This covers additional named users, self-service users, environments and integration message capacity. Additional quantities are charged at the same unit prices as the original order. The option may be used where the University's user numbers, organisational structure or transaction volumes grow beyond those originally ordered, for example additional finance, procurement or self-service users. It does not apply to cloud services not included in the original order, or to renewal periods. 2. Research Management elements The Research Management requirements described in the specification of the procurement documents are an anticipated future modification. The supplier provided transparent pricing for their implementation, configuration, licensing and any associated additional modules or functionality. The University may add these elements to the contract if it decides to extend the solution to cover research management activity. They were not included in the evaluated tender price. 3. Additional professional services and transition support The University may order further professional services from the supplier, priced and scoped by agreement. This option covers configuration changes requested through change control, additional environments, and transition assistance at the end of the contract. On expiry or termination, the University may also elect to continue to receive the cloud services for a transition period of up to 12 months, at the price set out in the contract, to support an orderly exit or migration to another provider.
