Description
The requirement is driven by the ongoing need to maintain National Highways' cyber security capability and service continuity across critical security programmes and operational activities.
Rationale
Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire: the uplift is required due to increased demand for specialist cyber security resources that have become necessary because the pipeline of cyber security initiatives have grown. There is to be no change to the scope, term, deliverables or nature of the services being provided under the contract. The uplift will provide the additional contractual headroom needed to meet the additional requirements until the contract expires in June 2027.
