To appoint a suitably qualified and experienced inspector to undertake a quarterly Operational Play Inspections regime across the Bradford District for a 3 year period with the option to extend for an additional 12 months subject to satisfactory performance.
This is for a short additional extension to the current arrangements from 1st January 2026 to 31st March 2026. The extension is requested (3rd extension) due to confidential changes in the service that have been delayed, and we potentially will need to use the provider for a further 3 months.

The exception will secure the luminaires to complete the project in its entirety and as all the designs are completed using this suite of luminaires from Signify, any deviation from this would incur additional cost and delays for re-design
The project is proposed to continue via a direct award by exception to Solace for an additional 21 months of therapeutic support whilst further discussions are held with key partners and stakeholders and to align to an academic year to prevent any disruptions should there need to be a change of provider.
