We are currently in a period of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) affecting councils across Lancashire. Subject to Parliamentary approval and the final arrangements for LGR, the existing council structure will be replaced by new unitary authority arrangements. Any contract awarded as a result of this procurement may therefore transfer to, be managed by, or be delivered for the benefit of a successor authority or authorities from Vesting Day. BCH reserves the right, subject to applicable law, the procurement documents, the contract terms and the final LGR arrangements, to transfer, assign, novate, vary, extend, aggregate, disaggregate, host or otherwise make arrangements reasonably required to support LGR and continuity of service delivery. Given the nature of this service, it is possible that an additional property(s) may require on-boarding during the term of the contract which will lead to an increase in the number of staff required to deliver the contract and therefore, an increase in contract value. In this event, the hourly rates will be charged at the same amounts as awarded under this tender.
