Westmorland and Furness Council (W&FC) is seeking to appoint a lead multi-disciplinary consultancy team to design and oversee delivery of the transformation of the Grade II listed Penrith Town Hall into a vibrant Creative and Community Hub. The project will revitalise a vacant historic asset, creating a flexible cultural, creative, community and civic venue while integrating a re-imagined Penrith and Eden Museum. The appointed consultant team will take the project through RIBA Stages 0-6, building upon an existing Outline Business Case and supporting the development of a Full Business Case for Council approval.

If the Contracting Authority decides to enter into a Contract with the successful supplier, this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of potential suppliers.
