Why this procedure was chosen
This contract supports the delivery of Ofgem's Vulnerability and Carbon Monoxide Allowance (VCMA) programme objectives by providing specialist income maximisation, benefits advice and financial support services for customers in vulnerable circumstances. Citizens Advice Manchester has been appointed to provide specialist benefits and income maximisation support within the Warm Homes Network ecosystem. The service forms part of a coordinated referral-based support model, enabling customers to access financial assistance, welfare support, energy efficiency advice and other vulnerability services through a single programme structure. The arrangement contributes to the delivery of VCMA outcomes through specialist support for vulnerable households, financial resilience, income maximisation and wider wellbeing improvements.
