Rationale
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: The standstill period has not yet concluded, resulting in there not being sufficient time for mobilisation of the new service prior to the contract commencement date. The modification provides for a twelve-month extension to the existing contract together with associated value uplifts required to continue service delivery. The modification is limited to the minimum period necessary to ensure service continuity while the replacement procurement and transition activities are carried out to completion. The increase in value resulting from this modification remains below 25% of the original contract value.
