Opportunity overview

Swindon Borough Council (SBC) Children’s Services is currently projecting a significant overspend which presents a material risk to the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP). At the same time, the Council has an established Children’s Improvement Plan and a range of service, workforce and practice reform activity underway. Previous external support has generated recommendations but has not resulted in: ~Sufficient ownership by service managers and directors ~Clear accountability for delivery ~Robust governance and oversight ~A clear line of sight between service change, improvement actions and financial impact The Council is therefore seeking external support to co-produce a single, integrated and delivery focused plan that aligns improvement, reform and savings activity and can be confidently overseen through existing governance arrangements.

How to submit
In order to provide unrestricted full direct sand free of charge access to the tender documents the Authority is providing the documents in the attachment area of the Pro Contract etendering portal at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk In order to access amendable versions of the documents and to submit a response suppliers will need to register as a supplier with Pro Contract at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk then Register an Interest before obtaining access and downloading the documents in Word and Excel format documents for completion and submission.
