This procurement is being conducted under the Light Touch Regime of the Procurement Act 2023. The Council uses a brokers for the expiring policy but invites direct insurer bids and intermediary bids alike. Tenders must demonstrate capacity to insure buildings with a declared value of £16.3 million, including Grade II listed structures and non-standard construction types. The policy must include index-linking to BCIS (West Dorset locations factor).
