- Following the outcome of a review during the early stages of evaluation, the London Borough of Hounslow has decided to abandon its current procurement exercise. Accordingly, no contract award will be made. This decision has been taken in accordance with the provisions of the Invitation to Tender and with due regard to the Council's obligations under applicable procurement legislation. The Authority identified concerns regarding the effectiveness of the award criteria and scoring methodology, specifically whether they provided sufficient assurance that providers could be fully assessed against the service requirements and meaningfully differentiated through evaluation. Given the importance of these services, the Authority has decided to discontinue the procurement and develop a revised approach before returning to the market. A revised tender will be issued in due course. We appreciate the time and resources invested in the preparation of your tender and thank you for your participation.
