Description
The Client may, at any time prior to the expiry of the Programme, elect at its sole discretion to extend the Programme by up to one (1) year by notice in writing to the Consultant until 3rd September 2031

Options

Description
The Council may under PA23 schedule 5(8) utilise the option of any services beyond the programme. This option may be up to a further 5 years in a four (4) year period plus the option to extend for a further one (1) year period up to 2036 Only a proposed programme has been provided with this tender for part of the contract for 2027 & 2028 only. The Final version of the proposed programme will be developed with the successful supplier from mobilisation stage onwards. The scope of works may encompass a range of building fabric and mechanical & electrical upgrades, including but not limited to: roofing repairs or replacements, window upgrades, boiler replacements, fire precaution enhancements, and drainage system improvements.

Description
Completion of initial survey and issue of brief Detail any additional surveys and investigations required. Estimated cost of works to be provided with uplifted costs for delivery in future years of the programme. For unplanned emergency works added to the programme site visits are to be completed within 2 working days of notification. If required, amendments to the brief must be made and the revised brief provided within 1 week of notification, unless agreed otherwise in writing at no extra fee. Where a RIBA Stage 1-2 report has been provided with estimated build costs then that stage % fee applies, not the hourly rate. If a summary of works only is provided, then the hourly rate will apply.

Description
Issue of Specification The full tender pack to be provided within an agreed duration from Council's approval of brief and any agreed surveys completed. Including evidence of Most Economically Advantageous Tender. If required, amendments to the tender pack must be made and the revised tender pack provided within 1 working week of notification, unless agreed otherwise in writing. This will be approved by the contract manager at Herefordshire Council.
