Why this procedure was chosen
The Land Sheriff service was contracted using a Single Source as Land Sheriffs were the incumbent having been initially engaged by the project and it was deemed too risky, time consuming and therefore costly to change to another supplier.
Published risks
Original contract was let in March 2025, and due to emerging scope requirements an extension was required in March 2026, taking the value from £293,921 to £583,921, an uplift of £290k from the initial value.
