Reduction Criteria
Providers must not be excluded from participation based upon a mandatory exclusion referred to in the Regulations 58(1) and (3). Participation is reserved to a particular profession as set out in III.2.1. Requirements apply to staff responsible for performance as set out in III.2.2 Suitable insurances require to be held for the Services as detailed in the conditions of contract. Providers will demonstrate to Scotland Excel’s satisfaction that they possess the necessary economic and financial capacity to perform the contract.

Authorisations and registrations are required as follows: ♦ Approval by Scottish Ministers under the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 for accommodations to be provided for the sole purpose of restricting the liberty of children in residential premises where care services are provided. ♦ Registration in accordance with the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, as amended, with the Registrar of Independent Schools. ♦ Registration with the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (“Care Inspectorate”) as the provider of a secure accommodation service under the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010.
