Leicester’s Safeguarding Children Partnership, in collaboration with Leicestershire and Rutland’s Safeguarding Children Partnership, is seeking to procure a Learning Management System (LMS) to support and enhance its multi-agency training program. The partnership delivers a range of safeguarding training and conferences with approximately 2,500 delegates attending each year, the training is delivered through a mix of in-person classroom sessions and online learning modules. In addition to delivering training, the Partnerships also publish safeguarding newsletters to disseminate critical information and updates. They also develop and distribute learning resources that complement the training courses. The Learning Management System will be predominantly for Leicester’s Safeguarding Children Partnership Services and partner organisations.

Description
The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid. During the contract term, there is potential to include the following pre-identified options, which were incorporated into the tender documentation: Additional licences to accommodate the Human Resources division within Leicester City Council as potential users of the system. Additional administrator training sessions, should the number of users increase as outlined above. Provision of an e-learning module, including associated licences. This was identified as a desirable requirement and may be procured during the contract term, subject to the availability of funding. The overall contract value includes these optional elements. The confirmed awarded contract value, excluding these options, is £49,243.00 (excluding VAT) and £59,091.60 (including VAT).
