Opportunity overview

The Department operates an Urban Traffic Control System, including close circuit television (CCTV) cameras. The provision of an IP transmission service for CCTV replaced a previous analogue system. This contract will provide and maintain safety critical CCTV services for the Department and other users across Northern Ireland, until a new contract can be awarded and all circuits have been migrated to the new service. Please Note: This notice contains an error with the supplier details carried forward from the UK6 Contract Award Notice. The Contracting Authority has attempted to publish a replacement UK6 Contract Award Notice with support from Cabinet Office but has been unable to do so due to a system error. This error will be corrected through the publication of a UK10 Contract Change Notice following the publication of this notice. This will amend the supplier details, replacing Yunex Ltd with British Telecommunications PLC.

This notice requires the Authority to indicate 'Transfer on corporate restructuring', however NO TRANSFER ON CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING HAS TAKEN PLACE. The original UK7 Contract Details Notice for this procurement contained an error with the supplier details which was carried forward from the UK6 Contract Award Notice. The Contracting Authority attempted to publish a replacement UK6 Contract Award Notice with support from Cabinet Office but was unable to do so due to a system error. The Contracting Authority was advised to publish this UK10 Contract Change Notice to amend the supplier details, replacing Yunex Ltd with British Telecommunications PLC.
