Opportunity overview

The Home Support Service in Kirklees will provide care and support to adults aged 18 and over, who have been assessed to meet the Council's eligibility criteria. This includes (but is not limited to) adults who have assessed care and support needs associated with older age, sensory impairment, dementia, learning disability, physical ill health, disrupted lifestyle patterns, substance misuse and mental illness. The Service Provider must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and deliver services in accordance with the registration requirements of the CQC, complying with all relevant regulations and best practice guidelines. Provision required in Holme Valley.

Description
Prices are fixed rates. Call-offs from the framework will be awarded to lead providers on a weekly rotational basis within each particular lot, with use of back-up providers in the event the rotational lead providers are unable to deliver a referral. Where a referral is rejected by the rotational lead provider or a response is not received within a 2 hour time period, all other lead providers will be contacted, with award made to the first lead provider to email a suitable referral response. Where all lead providers have confirmed they are unable to deliver the referral or a 2 hour window has passed, all back-up providers will be contacted and award made to the first back-up provider who emails a suitable referral response.
