- We refer to this procurement for the provision of responsive housing repairs and void maintenance services. Warwick District Council (the "Council") has taken the decision to abandon this procurement in accordance with ITT Tendering Instructions, General Requirements (Page 7) Information to Tenderers document. This procurement termination notice has been published in accordance with section 55 of the Procurement Act 2023 as soon as it was reasonably practicable. This decision has been taken reluctantly after reviewing the evaluation of the quality and social value elements of the procurement. The Council has identified issues with the record-keeping and application of the published scoring methodology at both ISIT and BAFO stage in relation to all bidders. Having regard to its obligations under the Procurement Act 2023, the Council has a duty to rectify this isolated procedural error and has concluded that to proceed to award to any bidder on the basis of the current process would render the award decision unsound. The Council is currently considering its procurement strategy for its ongoing requirements and information will be communicated to all bidders in due course regarding a re-procurement process.
