Description
The proposed Open Framework is expected to commence on 1st December 2026, with an initial term of 2 years, with an optional 12 month extension. The authority intends to reopen the framework at the end of the 3rd year of its establishment (if not already opened prior). The subsequent Framework will also have an initial term of 2 years, with an optional 12 month extension. The final Framework, should this be established, will consist of an initial period of 12 months, with an optional 12 month extension (1+1). The Council reserves the right when the Framework is opened at the specified periods, to ask all suppliers currently on the Framework, to reapply if they wish to be added to the next successive framework. Suppliers awarded onto the Framework will be ranked per lot, based on their Quality & Price score. For the purposes of Direct Awards, the Council will utilise the established supplier rankings for each lot. Where the Council determines that a Further Competition is required, all suppliers appointed to the relevant Lot will be invited to submit a bid for the further competition.
