  • At JCoSS (Jewish Community Secondary School) we are committed to the success of each child in all that they do. We attach a high value to academic attainment, and we recognise and celebrate personal achievement across every field of endeavour. We know that education extends far beyond the classroom and we seek a catering provider that mirrors our aspirations and high standards. Further information with regards to the school can be obtained here: https://jcoss.org/ Tender information: The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services to JCoSS. The contract term being tendered is for three years, 1st September 2025 – 31st August 2028. There is an option for a further extension period for up to two additional years to 31st August 2030. The contract offers an excellent opportunity to review and propose enhancements to the current catering services at the School, where the uptake is high. This includes but is not limited to; breakfast, morning break and lunchtime, over the academic year. The catering offer is Kosher and the school is keen to engage with a contractor that can provide assurance that a Kosher offer would be delivered both compliantly, and to the high standards that the school expects. Therefore, the school welcomes expressions of interest from catering companies either with experience in delivering Kosher catering, or from companies who have knowledge and experience of Kosher catering within its staff base/ organisation, that could be deployed to meet the school’s catering delivery requirements. The school is keen to secure a high quality catering service including fresh locally sourced ingredients prepared on site, with a menu design that is flexible to suit the requirements of the school’s specific students. The school is proud of its ‘family ethos’ and expects both a tightly managed service and a management style delivered by the successful contractor that supports, encourages and develops the catering staff. The school is not obliged to accept the lowest price submitted for this tender, rather the school is keen to secure ‘best value’ from this contract and to deliver ‘best value’ to its students. Innovative and creative ideas as to how the services can be developed and value added, will be welcomed. The school seeks a contractor that is keen to work in partnership and who will deliver to its highest abilities, at all times. Value of contract: The annual value of the current contract is £575,000 (the total sales per annum) Therefore the value of this contract is £2,875,000 (total annual costs as above x 5 as this contract is for a maximum of 5 years) The contract shall be a fixed price contract with invoices raised monthly to the school. Additional requirements and information: •The School has a minimum requirement for a contractor’s employers' liability and public liability insurance of £5 million •The minimum annual turnover that your company must have achieved to be considered for this opportunity is £1 million •There are not any incumbent catering staff currently within the Local Government Pension Scheme •The catering services are currently contracted to Caterlink Additional information: To respond to this opportunity please click here: https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/9HGEKESAG8Value not stated
