Opportunity overview

Manchester City Council are currently improving fixed playgrounds within parks across the city. This project is split into the following lots: • Lot 1 - Supply of Fixed Playground Equipment • Lot 2 - Multi Play Units (MPU) Supply Only All installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions (see EN 1176-7:2008, Clause 6). Consideration of inclusive play installations and/or adaptations are paramount.

Description

Units should provide a minimum of 10 play features and include elements for climbing opportunities via nodes, ropes, footrests, age appropriate educational play panels offering opportunities to explore the senses of light, touch and sound and games to play with others, drag ramps, scramble nets large and wide steps and decks, slides, traversing rings and/or bars, various viewing stations, open run-out sections, and provide ease transfer with space to allow helpers to give side support.
