Description
All Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) providers must meet the Scottish Government’s Funding Follows the Child and the National Standard for Early Learning and Childcare Providers in order to access public funding for the delivery of funded ELC hours. This applies across all sectors (public, private, third sector and childminders) and requires providers to evidence compliance with the National Standard criteria, as set out in Scottish Government guidance and associated operating frameworks. Further detail is provided within the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation issued alongside this contract notice.

Performance Terms
The following mandatory conditions must be met as part of contract performance: The Service Provider must demonstrate ongoing compliance with the Scottish Government’s Funding Follows the Child and the National Standard for Early Learning and Childcare Providers, including achieving and maintaining Care Inspectorate evaluations of “good” or above across relevant quality themes. The Service Provider must be registered with the Care Inspectorate as a Day Care of Children Service or Childminding Service and maintain this registration for the duration of the contract.
