The Hyde Group ('Hyde') sought Tenders from suitably skilled and experienced suppliers for the provision of a Building and Fire Safety Framework for works and services under this four-year, multi-lot framework. The contract has been procured with multiple regional and national lots (11 total workstreams). Rationale
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: Hyde has extended the Framework Agreement by up to 12 months, with a revised expiry date of no later than 23 April 2028. The modification is necessary due to unforeseen delays affecting projects being procured through the Framework, primarily arising from the Building Safety Act Gateway 2 approval process under Regulation 72(1)(c). These delays could not reasonably have been anticipated when the Framework was established and have impacted project approval and delivery timescales. The extension does not materially change the Framework's character, scope, economic balance or supplier structure, which Hyde considers is also permitted under Regulation 72(1)(e) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
