The scope of the procurement is the provision of Marine Electrical and Mechanical Services at Sullom Voe Terminal, Shetland including the crude oil loading jetties, and across the Council’s ports, harbours, ferry terminals, vessels and marine infrastructure. The successful Contractor must be capable of operating within high-hazard operational environments and complying with site-specific control measures, including permit-to-work and access control systems. A 24-hour, 365-day emergency call-out service is an essential requirement.

Bidders must ensure that they can support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, oncall service with an electrical engineer available to attend site within 2 hours and perform the function of isolating authority within the Sullom Voe Terminal permit system. This person must be of suitable experience and knowledge to maintain required systems; (Confirmation Statement).
