Rationale
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: The authority could not have foreseen the availability of the additional funding to support this activity. However the reason for the modification is due to a decision made by the authority and does not exceed 25% of the original value of the contract.
Description
. This is a permissible modification in compliance with Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime primarily under Regulation 13 (1)(d), because the modification is attributable to a decision by the authority which does not render the contract materially different in character and does not exceed 25% of the original contract value. (Regulation 13(2)(b)(ii) . The detail of services to be delivered as part of this modification are set out in VII.1.4. . Please note: the reference to PCR 2015 in system-generated fields reflects the original contract award regime. However, this modification is governed by the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime 2023. . Breakdown of Cumulative Modifications including this latest modification . Variation 1 VA-01 Family Hubs £327,068 (0.65%) Variation 2 VA-02 Family Hubs £218,155 (0.43%) . Therefore the cumulative change would equate to £545,223 (1.09%) of the original contract value. ' There is no change to the length of the contract, the services to be delivered via the modification are to be delivered within the original contract term.
